Sunny But Windy

Low pressure is pulling away from the region today, leaving behind clear skies and seasonable temperatures. Readings in the 30s this morning will rise to the middle and upper 40s this afternoon, which is on target for this time of year. Unfortunately, a strong west wind will develop this morning and continue through the afternoon – adding a bit of a chill to the air and potentially yielding a few isolated pockets of tree and limb damage (mostly stuff left dangling from the late February blizzard). A couple of short-lived power disruptions are possible in spots as winds gust 40 to 50 mph at times.
