While a few sprinkles and showers are possible around the area today, wet weather is likely to become more widespread around the Cape Saturday evening and night. Most of the Cape should see periods of rain, with a few pockets of heavier downpours possible and maybe even a rumble of thunder. Most of the precipitation will shift eastward and offshore during the pre-dawn hours, setting us up for a better day on Sunday.
