Sunday dawned gray and kind of murky but should see gradual improvement through the morning and midday hours. As the sun rises higher in the sky, the low level moisture should erode and yield to some (at least) partial sunshine for the middle and second half of the day. Temperatures in the 50s this morning will climb to the lower and middle 60s for afternoon highs.
A cold front will push eastward into New England later today and slide across the region tonight and Monday morning. That front will deliver some showers and thunderstorms to the region this afternoon and tonight but most of that activity will fizzle out prior to impacting our area. However, we may have a period of lighter showers to deal with during the overnight hours tonight and into the first part of Monday.
