Monday morning radar and surface observations show a band of showers shifting through the area. The area of rainfall is associated with a frontal zone that slid offshore overnight. This activity will move quickly eastward across the Cape, exiting the Outer Cape area by mid-morning. Clouds, unfortunately, will be slow to exit the area with generally gray skies expected through the day. Temperatures in the 40s and lower 50s this morning won’t rise a whole lot through the day – afternoon highs mostly in the middle and upper 50s.
