    A little more than a week out still...but a solid signal in model guidance for some big heat first half of *next* week as an upper level ridge flexes over the Northeast.

    Low level dry air (dewpoint down to 50F) is funneling into the area on an easterly wind...we add clouds and overrunning moisture to that late tonight and tomorrow and pay the price as temps will struggle to get to 60F Saturday.

    After some soaking rains today...much nicer weather tomorrow with sunny skies and temps well into the 70s. A busy westerly wind pushes us to 80F+ on Thursday. Hi-res NAM does a nice job picking up on the warmth with the land breeze keeping the cooler maritime air just offshore

    Has been a cool, gray and misty day with a gusty onshore breeze. That wind swings around to the south tonight, sends milder/more humid air northward and could lead to a few showers/t-storms Tues as a cold front cuts through the area. HRRR highlighting some midday and afternoon downpours/thunder

    Pretty nasty t-storms over central/western MA right now. Gust to nearly 60 mph in Westfield. That activity will stay to our west...but we may get some rain tomorrow as moisture comes at us from the south
