A cold front passed over the area yesterday, flipping winds to the north overnight. Behind the front, a slightly cooler air mass is building southward into the region and you’ll notice the chillier feel to the air today.
Winds this morning are busy out of the north (see image) and will remain active from the north and northwest throughout the day. Temperatures – which topped about between 65 and 70F on Thursday – will hold closer to 60F through the day.
Sunshine will help to offset the chill.
