The weekend has started out quite nice across the Cape with sunshine, cool temperatures and a fresh breeze. Certainly better than things looked several days ago!
Unfortunately, sunshine won’t hang on for the entire day as moisture to our west gradually shifts eastward and starts to filter out the sunshine. During the second half of the day we can expect mid and high level cloudiness to advance into the area, at first dimming the sunshine but eventually making things overcast during the afternoon hours.
That said, deeper moisture (rainfall) will be blocked to our south and west, ensuring dry weather throughout the day today.
