Cold air has built back into the region and will remain in place for the next 24 to 48 hours. Daytime temperatures today and tomorrow will average out about 10F below the average for the date and busy west winds will add a bite to the air at times.
Those west to northwest winds will gust over 20 mph at times through day today and into tonight (the National Blend of Models, shown above, provides a nice overview of afternoon wind gusts across the Northeast).
