Drying Out

Sunday was a clunker. Periods of rain and drizzle moved through the area throughout the entire day. Temperatures held in the 40s and a busy onshore wind persisted into the evening. Rainfall totaled out to 1/2 to 1 inch around the area.

Today will be a much better day. Expect a mix of clouds and episodes of sunshine and blue sky. West and northwest winds will average around 10 to 15 mph and temperatures will recover to the lower 50s.

Cooler air will build in tonight and really take hold tomorrow into midweek…along with the threat for some rain and snow showers. More on that later.
