After a solid soaking rain to start the work week, things dried out Monday afternoon and fair weather resumed across the area.
High pressure is taking control of our weather today and will remain the main feature of interest for much of the next week. Today will feature plenty of sunshine, an active westerly breeze and temperatures in the lower 40s for afternoon highs (after a bit of a chilly early morning with temperatures in the 30s and northwest winds blowing around the area).
It looks as though dry weather will dominate the weather story through the end of the week and into the upcoming weekend. As of right now, our next shot at storminess looks to be early next week.
