We finally shake the strong gusty north wind today but a light breeze off the water will persist through the day. Consequently, while interior areas enjoy a spring-like afternoon with temperatures well into the 40s and nearing 50F in spots, it’ll remain somewhat chilly here on the Cape. Expect afternoon temperatures either side of 40F after our cold/frosty early morning.
The weather pattern for the next several days will be very much like that of early spring – with mild air trying to make a run into New England and temperatures varying considerably depending on location and wind direction. Spots with a wind right off the water will struggle to climb out of the 40s, but locations with a nice land breeze will push into the 50s both Saturday and Sunday.
