Our long stretch of gray skies is coming to an end. While Friday has dawned gray, drier air is advecting into the region on strong gusty northerly winds and will erode the cloud bank over the course of this morning…resulting in clearing skies from north to south across the area. So while early risers may anticipate another murky day, Friday should ultimately be remembered as the first bright day in quite some time. That said, it’ll be a windy and rather chilly day (nothing too cold for early March) so not exactly the best conditions and it may take some time for the clouds to erode this morning.
