Not much in the way of weather to talk about for today – a good amount of sunshine overall but rather cold. Temperatures in the 20s to start the day will make their way into the 30s through the course of the morning and eventually top out in the upper 30s to lower 40s around the area. Tonight looks fine – chilly but clear. Temperatures will generally hold in the 30s overnight as the core of the cold air shifts seaward.
Enjoy today’s fair weather as a lengthy stretch of unsettled weather is coming, beginning tomorrow. Clouds will thicken tomorrow morning and some showers will spill into the area during the afternoon, followed by a steady soaking rain Saturday night. While this system will shift away from the area Sunday morning, gray skies will be tough to shake for the remainder of the weekend and cloud cover will be a common theme through next week, along with several tough-to-time opporunities for some wet weather.
