Saturday will go down as one of the nicest summer weather days of the season. A frontal zone moved through the area Thursday night and pushed cooler and drier air into the region on Friday…but cloud cover took its time getting out of the area…with skies not totally clearing out until the afternoon hours. Such is not the case today. High pressure is sitting overhead and yielding a nearly cloudless sky and some perfect summer weather. Temperatures will top out in the upper 70s to around 80F and the air will feel quite comfortable through the day.
