A fast-moving low pressure center is zipping by the area this morning – bringing us a bit of an ugly start to the weekend as Saturday kicked off with a steady light rain and temperatures in the 40s. Rain will persist around the area into the midday hours and then start to taper off as the system races eastward away from the region. Partial clearing is possible before sundown. Sunday will feature brighter skies and drier conditions – though a passing afternoon shower or snow shower is possible – but blustery, cool weather overall.
