A band of rainfall passed through the area overnight, bringing a very uniform 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain to the Cape. Things will dry out through the day today (Saturday) with partial clearing – but another round of wet weather is headed our way tomorrow and tomorrow night. Precipitation totals for this second round of rain (which may end as some snow showers and flurries on Monday) should match or exceed Friday night’s – with most spots passing 1/2 inch and some neighborhoods nearing 1 inch of rain.
