Touch of Light Snow, Then Sharply Colder

An arctic cold front is cutting through the Northeast and New England today and will push offshore this evening. Out ahead of this feature, a band of light snow and flurries (as seen on the local radar this morning) is moving eastward across the region and will impact the Cape during the early to mid-afternoon hours. No significant impacts are anticipated but a quick coating to an inch of snow may occur and there could be some slick spots later in the day. The bigger story will be a quick shot of arctic air moving in tonight and lingering into Tuesday morning. Temperatures will fall back into the 10s tonight and struggle to climb through the 20s on Monday.
