Cool, Quiet, PM Sun?

Low pressure moving by the region has introduced onshore winds to the area and spread a shield of cloud cover across the Cape. The result has been a rather cool and gray start to Sunday, with a couple of light sprinkles around in spots. Thankfully, the bulk of the system’s moisture is passing to our south, keeping a shield of steady rain away from the Cape. Drier air will gradually work its way into the area over the course of Sunday, allowing (hopefully) for some partial clearing during the second of the day. It’ll remain cool throughout the day as winds continue to blow in off the ocean. Visible satellite imagery this morning shows plenty of thick cloud cover along the south coast of New England but clearing skies working their way south and eastward from New York State and central New England.
