Wet weather moved into the area Thursday night and continues to impact the region this weekend. Thus far, rainfall amounts have generally been between 1/4 and 3/4 of an inch – obviously nothing too crazy but a nice slow accumulation of light rain with gray skies over an extended period of time to help green things up a bit. Additional pockets of mist, drizzle and scattered showers are expected today and tomorrow. Things won’t improve in earnest until Monday.
