Monday’s nice weather will give way to dreary conditions for Tuesday as clouds and wet weather move into the area. While the day has dawned partly cloudy and calm, clouds will fill in quickly this morning and showers – which radar shows to our north and west first thing this morning – will overspread the area as the day goes on. Expect damp and cool conditions for a good chunk of the afternoon, just in time for the first full day of Meteorological Fall. Temperatures will climb to near 70F during the morning hours but the combination of onshore winds and increasing moisture will push readings back into the 60s during the afternoon.
