Strong low pressure passing south of us will bring a period of howling north and northeast wind during the day on Tuesday. That, combined with tides that are running high thanks to the recent new moon, will result in coastal flooding during the afternoon high tide.
A Coastal Flood Warning is posted for the area in anticipation of widespread minor to moderate coastal flooding around the area – with a particular focus inside of Cape Cod Bay from Sandwich to Eastham.
