While temperatures will head well into the 50s today under sunny skies, we have a cold night coming up tonight around the area. Ideal radiational cooling conditions – clear skies, light winds and dry air – will develop after sundown and persist throughout the night. Temperatures should have little difficulty falling into the 30s and will very likely head for 30 to 35F around just about the entire Cape by morning. The result will be a widespread frost very late tonight and first thing Tuesday morning.
