Tuesday may very well have been the nicest day of the summer thus far. The day featured wall-to-wall sunshine, deep blue skies, light winds, mild temperatures and no humidity. Legit “Top 10” day.
Looking ahead to today, Wednesday, we can expect another winner with a good deal of sunshine and comfortable conditions through the day. After a cool early morning (lower and middle 50s in spots) the strong early July sunshine will quickly boost temperatures back into the 60s and readings will climb back into the 70s by mid morning. Expect afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s around the Cape and humidity levels will remain quite comfortable. A southwest breeze will kick in over the course of the day (signaling the arrival of warmer and more humid air for the remainder of the week).
