A fast-moving “clipper” system is going to pass through New England tonight, bringing us a period of steady snow for a few hours from very late this evening into the pre-dawn hours. This weather system will be moving right along and we are only looking at a 4 to 6 window of precipitation tonight…that said, most, if not all, of the precipitation will be in the form of snow and we are likely to see some light accumulations and some slick roads overnight. Expect 1 to 2 inches of snow when you wake up first thing Monday morning. Sleeping in? It may be gone – as temperatures warm into the 40s by midday Monday.
