A cold front sliding through the Northeast and New England will pass over the Cape this evening and shift offshore tonight. Out ahead of the front, showers / periods of rain will impact the area from this afternoon into the first half of tonight. A few embedded downpours are possible. Things will dry out and clear out overnight, setting us up for a sunny and seasonable day on Monday. Simulated radar imagery (above) shows rain shifting into the area around 4 or 5PM this evening.
