A round of showers and thunderstorms cut across the Cape overnight and through the pre-dawn hours, yielding some quick downpours in spots. Rainfall totals weren’t overly impressive, but some spots picked up 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch of rain. During dry spring stretches, any wet weather is welcomed.
