Much Nicer

After a dreary Tuesday, which saw some very impressive rainfall around parts of the Cape (more on that later), much nicer weather is taking hold for midweek. A few lingering morning clouds (as seen on the visible satellite loop) will push offshore and leave us with lots of sunshine through the day today. A nice westerly breeze will take hold – lowering humidity values and bumping temperatures up toward 80F for a midday and afternoon high. If you’re headed to the beach, don’t be fooled by the morning cloud cover. Skies will clear out so use plenty of sunscreen…the late June sun is at its strongest and the UV Index will be “Very High” (upwards of an 8 or 9). Tides are low during the midday and early afternoon hours.
