We are right on the northern edge of a strong ocean storm spinning south and east of Nantucket this morning. This storm center is spinning a thick blanket of clouds into the region and throwing some scattered pockets of light rain and drizzle into the area. Thankfully, the bulk of the deep moisture and wet weather remained just south of the Cape overnight and into this morning, sparing us from another soaker.
As we push through the day today, the storm center will slide eastward, winds will back to the northwest and slightly drier air will begin to wrap into the area. The result will be some partial clearing during the second half of the day.
Temperatures will be on the cool side of things, with readings generally stuck in the upper 50s.
