February was a fairly dry and tame month overall – one big precipitation-maker near Valentine’s Day (our lone winter snowstorm) and some heavy rain to close out the month but overall the month featured a good amount of sunshine and not much precipitation. But ever since that big rain-maker to close out February, we’ve been on 2 week run of stormy weather and have picked up a lot of rainfall – upwards of 4 to 6 inches in just 2 weeks…with some totals closer to 7 and 8 inches in Rhode Island and Eastern Connecticut.
