Thursday is shaping up to be the nicest day of the work week thus far. Expect plenty of sunshine through the day (after early morning fog dissipates) and warm temperatures. Readings should have no trouble climbing into the lower and middle 80s and dewpoint values will be down a bit from Wednesday (but there will still be a bit of a humid feel to the air). A cold front will approach the region from the northwest later today and tonight, rolling across the region and ushering in a “cooler” (still near 80F) and less humid air mass for Friday and Saturday. Prior to the front’s passage, we could see a few isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms around the region. Should any activity fire off, a locally strong storm is possible.
