Passing Shower, Chilly

A northerly flow of cold air will produce pockets of cloud cover today and bring the threat for a shower or two. Temperatures won’t recover a whole lot from their morning readings in the 40s – as highs top out between 50 and 55F. The chilly north and northeasterly wind will persist for the next couple of days, keeping temperatures cool and threat for a few passing showers in the forecast tomorrow and Wednesday (higher chances Wednesday). You can see on this morning’s satellite image, moisture (in the form of cloud cover) starting to back south and westward off the Gulf of Maine.
