Wednesday and Thursday’s chilly high pressure center has slipped south of the area and a return flow of southerly air has taken hold. This area of high pressure will remain anchored in place over the next several days, meaning an extended period of west and southwest winds. The result will be several days of sunny and warm weather beginning Saturday and lasting until Tuesday of next week. Expect daytime highs in the 70s with little in the way of cloud cover.
