After a weekend of seasonably mild temperatures, a cold front will cut across the area on Monday and be followed by a shot of cold air for Tuesday. 850 mb temps will crash to -6 to -9C…yielding surface temperatures in the lower and middle 40s midday Tuesday. The cold will be accompanied by strong gusty west and northwest winds.
