A powerful ocean storm will slide southeast of the area on Sunday…just grazing us with some snow and wind. Total accumulations currently look rather light – maybe an inch near the Canal to a few inches on the Lower and Outer Cape. Were the storm to wobble a hair westward, higher amounts would materialize but the odds for such a wobble are decreasing by the hour. You can see on the simulated radar image for tomorrow, that the heaviest precipitation is modeled just to our southeast, sparing us a major winter storm.
