Chilly weekend temperatures have been pushed out to sea and replaced by a milder, more Spring-like, air mass to start the workweek. Instead of starting the day in the 20s – as we did on Sunday – Monday morning’s temperatures are in the 40s and will climb to the lower and middle 50s for highs (which is actually a bit above average for the date). The main downside to the day will be a strong gusty southwest wind, similar to what we dealt with Sunday afternoon, which will make things feel cooler at times…especially along the southern shores of the Cape where the wind comes in off the water. Skies will average out partly sunny – with more in the way of blue sky and sunshine during the morning and more in the way of cloud cover as the afternoon progresses.
