Both Saturday and Sunday are shaping up to be decent weather days – not spectacular but reasonably nice given the calendar and recent cool weather. Saturday will feature lots of sunshine and deep blue sky with temperatures in the 50s. The only real downside to the day will be a gusty northwest wind. On Sunday, sunshine will dominate through midday before clouds roll in over the course of the afternoon. It’ll be cooler with temperatures closer to 50F – but winds will be fairly light through the day…helping out a bit. The combination of the strong April sunshine, dry air/low humidity and a gusty northwest breeze does raise the threat for any brush fires to spread quickly…so the National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for Saturday urging caution with any outdoor burning.
