After a bit of a gloomy Sunday, Monday is shaping up to be a nice day around the area. Leftover low cloud cover in spots will continue to thin and break apart over the course of the morning with sunshine and blue skies taking hold for much of the day. Temperatures in the 60s to start the morning will jump quickly into the 70s and generally top out between 75 and 80F this afternoon – a light onshore breeze may hold some shoreline locations a touch cooler than that. Dew point values will remain fairly low so it should continue to feel quite comfortable. In terms of beach weather – today may very well be the pick of the week as unsettled weather will move in mid week and linger around the region.
