Somewhat comfortable air lingers over the area Wednesday morning but change is, quite literally, in the wind. A southerly flow of air will take hold today and linger over the region into early next week (at least) yielding a long stretch of hot and humid weather. Dew point values will climb back through the 60s today, near 70F tonight and then continue to inch upward tomorrow and Friday. The combination of temperatures between 85 and 90F and dew point values in the middle 70s will make it feel very uncomfortable Thursday through Saturday.
