Becoming Sunny

Marine cooled air overspread the area late Saturday and into Saturday night, bringing a widespread deck of low clouds and fog. That marine layer remains in place to start Sunday but should lose out to the strong June sun over the course of the morning hours. You can see on visible satellite imagery at around 9:15 this morning, holes in the overcast developing around the area and those should expand quickly through mid and late morning as the sun rises higher into the sky, heats the land, and dries out the air. Temperatures in the 60s this morning will climb into the 70s for highs. Enjoy the relatively cool air while you can… as much warmer and more humid conditions are in store for later this week.
